Voiceover Coaching

Private coaching for actors serious about working in voiceover.

Voiceover is a wildly competitive corner of the already competitive entertainment industry. If you want to work in voiceover, you need to train to be competitive with industry vets from Day 1.

Robin coaches actors privately, one session at a time, on commercial voiceover performance. Her approach is tailored to you: your voice, your instincts, your strengths, and the gaps keeping you from booking. No standardized curriculum, no cheerleading, no guessing what you need to work on. She’ll tell you the truth, and she’ll give you the tools.

She coaches from direct industry experience. Robin is currently working as an actor, directing sessions for agencies and studios, and casting talent on her own projects. When she tells you what makes a performance bookable, it’s because she’s regularly on the other side of that decision.

Who This Is For

People come to Robin with all levels of experience; from brand-new beginner to established vets.

Some are actors already working in other areas who want to add voiceover to their careers. Some come from improv, theater, or on-camera and want to understand what actually changes when you trade the camera for a mic. Some are starting a second career and want to learn it properly from someone who works in the field. And some have just always been curious about voiceover and finally decided to see if they’re any good at it.

Everybody’s path looks different, and so will their coaching. Whether you’re looking to sign with an agent, or you simply want to get better at something creative and challenging, Robin will tailor a curriculum to help you achieve your goals. And if you don’t even know what those goals could look like yet, she’ll help you sort that out, too.

The common thread isn’t experience level or career ambition. It’s being willing to take the work seriously and being open to direction. If that sounds like you, let’s chat.

What You’ll Work On

The specifics will vary from person to person, but coaching usually covers things like:

  • making strong, specific choices

  • learning how to translate specs and copy into something actable

  • taking and adjusting to direction in real time

  • understanding what’s happening in the industry moment to moment and why

  • building the instincts that turn auditions into bookings instead of “that’s a nice voice”

A Note on Casting

Robin also casts actors for voiceover and on-camera projects. When she recommends someone for a job, it's because she's worked with them directly and knows what they can do.

Coaching with her does not guarantee auditions or bookings. It does mean your work is known to her firsthand, which matters in an industry built on relationships, reputation, and trust.
