Demo Production

Professional demos that get you heard.

Your voiceover demo is your calling card, much like your headshot is for on-camera acting.

Whether this is your first step into voiceover or you’ve been at it for a while, your demo needs to match reality. I am not here to rush you, oversell you, or help you put something out there you can’t back up in a session. I work with you, alongside a professional copywriter, to create a demo that reflects your voice as an artist and presents you clearly as a working professional.

I come to demo production from a performance background. I’ve been on both sides of the mic, and I approach demos the same way I approach my own working sessions: clear direction, thoughtful choices, and a focus on work that holds up in real-world use.

The goal isn’t just to make something that sounds good. It’s to make something that gets listened to. This is for actors who are ready to record a competitive demo and move the needle on their voiceover career. If you’re still building fundamentals or unsure you’re ready, start with coaching or an intake consult.

A professional demo is the piece agents and casting use to decide whether to keep listening, whether to call you in, and whether there’s a place for you in the current market. That means timing, performance, and execution matter more than enthusiasm or range.

I produce demos for actors who are ready to be evaluated at a professional level. The goal isn’t to show everything you can do — it’s to present a clear, competitive read that works in the real hiring pipeline.

If you’re not quite there yet, that’s not a problem. Coaching exists for a reason. But when it’s time to make a demo, it should be done deliberately, cleanly, and without guesswork.

Below is how I approach demo production, what’s included, and what it costs — so you can decide whether now is the right moment.

What a Demo Is

  • Demo Prep Session (1 hr): You read a variety of copy for my copywriter to get a sense of the range of your voice and reads

  • Custom Script: Written specifically for your voice and goals

  • Recording Session: In person (LA) or remote via Source-Connect

  • Editing, Music, & Mix: Broadcast-ready polish

  • Post-Demo Consult: Marketing strategy and next steps for commercial demos; as needed for others

How I Produce Demos

Our work begins with a consult— a chat over Zoom to make sure we’re a good fit, and to assess where you’re at in your process. From there, I’ll recommend coaching, demo production, or both, based on your experience level and goals. My rates reflect the time, preparation, and attention required to do this work well. I keep pricing transparent so you can make clear decisions without a sales call.
